I love ice cream. I also love feeling awesome. As a plant based foodie, who at times is obsessed with recipe testing or always reading blogs about food I try and stick to whole food alternatives to satisfy cravings.I get to indulge in icecream but maintain feeling energetic and healthy.
This ice cream sub is a great go to for moments when you want some sugary treat and it's simple to make only 4 ingredients if I have counted correctly.
Ingredients for Ice Cream
5 or 6 frozen bananas
1/2 cup of coconut milk or cream
add water to thin out for desired consistency
1 tsp vanilla powder
Blueberry Date Sauce
1 - 2 cups wild blueberries
Note: you can prepare this in a food processor or vitamix. You will need a high powered blender to get the desired creamy-ness of the ice cream a regular blender will probably not work as well.
