I love ice cream. I also love feeling awesome. As a plant based foodie, who at times is obsessed with recipe testing or always reading blogs about food I try and stick to whole food alternatives to satisfy cravings.I get to indulge in icecream  but maintain feeling energetic and healthy.

This ice cream sub is a great go to for moments when you want some sugary treat and it's simple to make only 4 ingredients if I have coun...

I love Rice crispy bars. I also love almond butter that’s why these bars are awesome. I honestly have not had a bowl of cereal in a year until I bought the boxes of brown rice crispies to make these bars. I straight up bought 2 boxes of puffed brown rice cereal and then Saturday morning woke up hungry and ate a bowl, it was the best. Cereal is great for lazy people who maybe don’t have time to cook or are too tired or busy.

While living in H...

This recipe holds a close place in my heart as it never fails and has always been my go to cookie recipe when the holidays or special or not so special occasion should come around.

There’s nothing like giving someone a homemade cookie to make them feel special and cared for- a great way to share the love and everyone who I have ever made these cookies for has enjoyed them.

This recipe is for a coconut macaroon and is only 2 ingredients recipe below.

1.Place coconut palm sugar or brown sugar, coconut cream, and salt in a small saucepan.

2. Heat slowly while stirring to dissolve the coconut sugar.

3. Once mixture is boiling, reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.

4. To test the consistency, I take the saucepan off the heat, spread a little sauce on a saucer (or similar) and place in the freezer for a few minutes. If the caramel doesn’t thicken (enough), I s...

What a way to start blogging finally and funny enough the first topic is going to be Sushi.  I am not a blogger or a writer really so I am going to keep this first post very simple.  Homemade Sushi with my personal recipe below.

Note: This sushi is very simple. I did not even use a sushi mat. So don't worry if you don't have one. And don't be afraid to mess up a roll or two before you get the hang of it.
